wow in 12 years LA will look like that :O??? giant megabuildings with flame blowing smoke stacks, rooms cooled by ceiling fans. i remember watching this movie in 8th grade. was awkward with my parents watching too, when the robot lady's boobies were showing :(

Flying cars...skyscrapers that blow up intermittently? Lame. But Stbasdf's post was funny enough, so I give him a 5/5.

One of the best films ever made. Very poetic and tragic. I watched this the other day and couldn't but help feel so bad because this and Soldier of Orange (Soldaat van Oranje) are The Kings (Rutger's) best films. Haven't read the book but see the film at least once a year, it's in the same category as Dracula when it comes to classics.

^^ Agree. But make sure you watch the "director's cut" - IMO a much better movie than the original studio-approved version.

Ambiance overload in this film, I love it. The end of this film has got to be one of the best scenes in a sci-fi movie. 5/5
