Some poor emo girl gets up on a high horse because she watched the Fox news report about emo kids. About halfway through is when she really loses it. It's not so much that making fun of emo kids is the case here, it's just that it seems as if she seems oblivious to the fact that punk and hardcore were important in the development of emo. The difference is just that with punk and hardcore the reasons they were pissed off were for political and social reasons, not because they had a bad day, or that they got made fun of. People shouldn't try to place themselves into categories that must dictate the way they live their lives based on the type of music they like. It's just another form of consumerism.
