It's interesting and somewhat useless. It would be nice to understand if there's a colour to voltage formula. Remake the video with more information like how it works.

Interesting but I'm thinking this is not quite true. For one LCDs work by blocking light. To get color there are little RGB filters on every pixel. Higher and lower voltages would have blocked varying amounts of light in a true LCD but would not have changed the color.
