I love the watching these strong man competitions, unfortunalety though, they are becoming tall man competitions with more on leverage than strength. Those Atlas stones are such a huge disadvantage to be the last event for a shorter man.

Still a great upload and great choice of music.

Bill Kazmier is still the greatest ever. I saw him hosting one of the smaller shows where guys were competing to just get into this competition and he was demonstrating how to do the hurculese hold (the one pfister is doing at the start) and he was commentating on his own form WHILE HE WAS DOING IT. Not just that, but at almost 50, he BEAT EVERY time the competitors posted on it. If anyone has the vid of him doing the "keg toss" event please post. I heard that they actually asked him to retire to give others a shot at winning.

In the 2006 World's Strongest Man contest, he came in second to the American Phil Pfister, the first American to win the championship since 1982. Pudzianowski led the competition until the final event, where Pfister completed a come-from-behind victory, having finished the first event in last place.
