humas have a pair of 22 autosomal chromosomes (44) and another pair (xx or xy) determine sex, written 46,xx and 46,xy in other words 46 and 2. but other people interpret it as 44 + 2, aborigines actually have 42 + 2, the next step would be 46 + 2 (48 total that's believed to be the next step for us)

No they don't we have 22 autosomes and 2 gender chromosomes, xx or xy, making 46, this song is about Maynard trying to attain the Christ level of consciousness by adding the two additional chromosomes to make him complete. I disagree with the video when it says the 42+2 peoples of Australia were unified and acted as a single being as that is what the race of 46+2 people would be.

^Aeria i wholeheartedly agree that people read too much into it, one line "46 and 2 ahead of me" does explain itself as a next step, a progression, an improvement, a bettering of ones self. if it is interpreted as 48 + 2, 24 pair total it might have been clearer. instead of total, with defined sex chromosomes (46,xx/xy gender) people read total autosomes AND sex chromosomes (44 + 2). WE have 23 pair total (46,xx/xy); ABORIGINES have 22 pair total (44,xx/xy) but both are human, i didn't mean to imply a superiority of one breed to another. (just to avoid confusion)

what Carl Jung believed was that 46+2 was the next step in evolution, he was alive like 60 years or 80 years ago?.. anyways.

We know now that 46+2 = hermaphrodite.

Carl Jung's work is mostly viewed as philosophy and from his work, Maynard has taken the 'Shadow' the unconcious self and being aware of it.

You guys are still missing the point even when it's laid out infront of you.

I was interested in your reply and attempted to research the subject somewhat briefly on google. However, I was unable to find anything to support your claim that 46+2 is a hermaphrodite. The closest thing I found regarded a 'true hermaphrodite', labeled as 'chi46,XX / 46,XY'.

While I don't know how to read all that gobbledygook as it was intended, my interpretation was that true hermaphrodites do have the 46+2 chromosome scheme, though it does not relegate them to being hermaphrodites, per se.

I may just be looking in all the wrong places, and I am sincerely interested, so if you could toss a link my way, it would be much appreciated.
