For those who may be confused, Final Fantasy III (as released in the USA) was released as Final Fantasy VI internationally (and I forget which FFs weren't released to the US market). That's why you'd have noticed the jump from III to VII, on the PS.

And yeah, FF6 was the bomb.

I wish with every geeky nerve and brain cell in my body that they go back to the good ol fashion way of doing final fantasy... this non level / build anything/ good at everything system is starting to kill me slowly but surely

Oh ya and make the soundtracks memorable again too... so i know a guys theme music from the time i play it to the day i die (ie kefka and sephiroth)

And with all this technology I really don't see why we had to get out of using world maps... i loved just cruising around the world sometimes to see what i could see

Its disappointing how there was very little mention or depth of 12 and Tactics, which is disappointing being they have very nice story lines.

my biggest regret in gaming is to have never played any of the FF games :(
seriously its a huge regret. The worst thing is now that the originals are so outdated, that i can't enjoy them, because they have no nostaligic value for me at all.
So yea, i've lost out to a great series :(

The last FF I played was VII. I was 90% done with the game. My buddy wanted to start up his own game. Played for 4 minutes and saved over my game...
