Its not tiny, Madagascar is fuckin HUGE dude, 4th biggest island on the planet, more than twice the size of Britain. (having said that, no ones actually expecting americans to check a world map, but ye, to you yanks, its a small island somewhere north-south of Asia.) hehe

Madagascar is awesome.
Used to live there when I was a kid and we had a pet chamaeleon.
Remember seeing some Lemurs about and there were salamanders, cockroaches and ants running across the walls most of the time.
It was a frickin' brilliant place to spend time in one's childhood as there was a lot of adventure to be had.

They do have big problems due to deforestation though. In the last 100 years they have cut down about 90% of their forests.
Countless species must have gone extinct.

Ha, no bru, not just a movie...
Madagascar makes for an awesome holiday... Its cheap as fuck, and you can cruise around on a rented 125 cc with nothing but board shorts and a cooler box for the beers. The amount of rice farms will also surprise you, sometimes feels more like asia, and the locals definitely look different compared to the mainland, (Polynesian descent.) Its poor as fuck tho, and around Antananarivo the locals look a bit dodgy sometimes. Never fuck the local chicks, aids is everywhere! Also, you'l probably get malaria, I did, 4 times. Happy times tho.
