I don't know.. if he was in reverse and hit the gas enough to make the car go forward when in drive it could have done that. Mine goes in reverse pretty fast on it's own and I usually only use the break while in it because of that :P

A true story:

In some European country (cant remember which), they lowered the alcohol limit for driving down to 0,4 per thousand (i dunno the exact english word) to lower the rate of traffic accidents. But instead, the numbers of accidents got much higher! The unofficial theory is that instead of drunk men driving home, they got their wifes to pick them up at the pub=/
