English version > American version.

Probably because I don't get American humour - Apart from Louis C.K. He cracks me up.

The British one is very funny, but there are way more eps of the American one and it is very funny too. Both are good in there own ways. I like Ricky Gervais more then steve Carell but I like most of the other American actors more.(Dwight/Jim)

The American Office is way better in every aspect. Maybe it's because I'm not a huge fan of english accents because a lot of words are mumbled, or maybe it's because the acting is just far superior. I'm not saying the english one isn't funny, but the american one is wayyyyyyyyy better.

I like em both, but being that i've only seen clips of the english version and EVERY episode of the american version(i was literally addicted for a while), I obviously have to side for the one in which I can relate more closely to the characters.

Its simple really, 95% of americans are going to say the american one is better and visa-versa, while the other 5% are teenagers who feel the need to deviate from their society. you know i'm right.

Beanpie-I believe the "dry humor" is what the entire show is about. Both versions are that way.

tmofo-It's funny that you say that you don't get American humor, because a lot of people here, at least in my experience, don't get English humor. I like English humor. Hot Fuzz, Sean of the Dead, Monty Python. C'mon people, these are classics.
