Man Suing Over Pants Seeks New Verdict

The man who sued a Washington, D.C. cleaners over a lost pair of pants wants a judge to reconsider the case. Roy Pearson says his legal claims weren't addressed when a judge threw out the case.

Uhh WTF, if I went there and saw that, how do I know what else has been in the food i've ate there before? It could have been the reason I've been sick on numerous occasions.

On the other hand... 54 million dollars for a pair of pants? I can see something like 6,000 dollars. 500 for the pants (Hey maybe it was a nice pair) and 5,500 for consumer dissatisfaction.

This is one of the most ridiculous law suits I have ever heard of in my life. I study law and this is beyond a frivolous lawsuit. There is no way he is going to win anything except for the cost of the pants (REASONABLE COST) and maybe a few hundred dollars for the "inconvenience" he has endured. 54 millions dollars. Oh boy. I cannot believe this guy is a judge. He should know better.
