no it was a kayfabe (scripted)
wasnt part of any storyline at the time but just intended to create a classic moment which it did.

do u guys go to the circus and say "FAKE"? Just because it is staged and planned doesn't mean they don't get hurt. It is like watching people performing acrobatic stunts.
