u have to rip out the root or it will grow back, the only problem is the root is connected deep into the body, its dangerous to remove without knowing what its connected to. It doesnt seem like a really good doctor to me by the way, hes just says, "it better not".

A subcutaneous cysts (or sebaceous/empidermal cyst) is pretty much a clogged oil gland that's right under the surface of your skin. When you don't wash your hair and get that whole oily nasty feel to it, that's because of the gland and the sebum it makes.

Pretty much just a pimple lol, only with your hair. Usually they're not painful and will usually go away after a while, but if they get big or unsightly you can get the sac surgically removed, especially if it gets infected...which is when it starts to hurt like a bitch. Another treatment is to use a hot compress on it every day to turn the stuff inside to liquid and let the body handle it.

and not cancerous. (the same sac usually doesn't get infected, but they'll generally pop up in the same area if you get em a lot.) And yes, you tend to get em on your nut sacks or the gooch. or chest. (behind the ear and areas around the face are pretty common as well).
