Personally, I hate Seinfeld. I've never found him or his material funny. I tried watching 3 or 4 episodes of his show as well and thought it was the lamest attempt at comedy I had ever seen.

Obviously alot of people find him funny, so maybe its me and my sense of humor. Who knows?

^Yeah, I understand where you are coming from. I did like his show but his standup is weak. Most of the situations he describes aren't very unique or provocative observations.

thats one of the reasons why hes so funny, he makes jokes about situations that we can all relate to.

btw, i have this on VHS, he comes out at the end and fields questions from the audience and does his last "hello newman" as well.

@scr33ch,
I guess uniqueness is subjective but I don't think observing that cab drivers smell and faucets at airports suck takes a lot of effort. Also, he makes jokes based off of face value comments. As an example, the element symbol for boron is B and manganese is Mn. These symbols are quite common (in fact, they are in our own alphabet if you haven't noticed). The only way you could find that joke funny is if you don't know these symbols- in which case you were probably thinking "Oooo, science... odd and mysterious... ooohh".

But hell, I'm not telling you not to watch his standup. By all means, laugh, relate, enjoy yourself. But if your enjoyment depends on how many other people also enjoy something than you should probably reevaluate why you like the things you do.

@jg, that is why it is entitled "I'm telling you for the last time." He is performing the material in which his tv show is based for one last time before it is retired.

Jerry is a master of comedy and I think one of the best and most unique stand-ups in the business.
