William Shatner is SO cool! He has made a life out of one role in a series that only lasted 3 years over 30 years ago.

^You forget that he also authored the TekWar books and starred in the TV Movies/Series of the same name. He is also playing a role in the TV series Boston Legal. Despite all that, he will probabaly always be remembered as Captain Kirk.

Can't say I ever really got into the original Star Trek series, but Shatner does crack me up.
The guy doesn't have his head in his arse like some 1 hit/series/movie wonders.
Needless to say though, Star Wars is great!

But Shatner is awesome.

Maybe Star Wars was a bit nerdy, but Star Trek was uber-nerdy.
And Star Trek didn't have Jedi's. Jedi's rule! And special effects were awesome in SW, and the music was epic. It also had humor. Damn. I remember skipping the school dance to see Star Wars at the cinemas ALONE. But worth it is was.
