We use to do this as kids. It just stings a little, but enough to make you NOT want to get hit...like paintball. If I could find roman candles and someone my age who isn't a total bore, I would still do it...still looks fun.

ha thats how boys play with fireworks...real men shoot roman candles at each other after soaking themselves in flammable fluids!

And being hit by a paintball isn't all that bad, I was a referee at a paintball field and kids used to think my bright yellow ref shirt meant i was the target...

Two years ago, one exploded on contact with my forehead. It was perfect timing and left a fleshy blast burn for about a month. It sucked, because that was the only time I got hit during the whole war.

a t shirt and a paint mask? id just go wit some safety glasses so when the candle catches my shirt on fire and or gets shot under the face mask i can get some wicket burns....sometimes safety in paintball is not the same for fire....sorry to inform ya
