^he's saying in the hook "heaven this isn't hard enough, Take everything away" Life is supposed to be a test of faith and he's saying his test isn't hard enough so when he prays he asks god to take everything away. I don't even listen to rock and I got that the first time through.

Saw these guys in concert. This is from Believe it is their best album I think, 10,000 fists was ok only it got really radio rock, more of a mainstream sound.

Disturbed owns, but they need to put more stuff out.

i envisioned this song as saying "as if living isn't hard enough" he has to deal with religion too. "they take everything from you", in that they strip you of who you are and what you can do.

At least, following their ideaology, that's what i got out of it.

But it still is a great song, great band.

btw his piercings are dual "labret" (la-brey) piercings, which are actually in his lower lip near the gum, they just hang down to his chin.

My interpretation of this, if you watch the video you'll see homeless people and not so well off people. I think he's saying that life sucks, please kick me while i'm down.
