I don't understand the rules of this particular match. From the looks of it Arona won. Fedor looked really sluggish. He is always explosive on all his Pride matches.

Arona is a fucking pussy always going for the take down. He probably didn't score well for aggressiveness(if thats a criteria).

I know this is against the rules in tournament fights, but if you ever find yourself in a real fight and someone pulls the move of holding you from behind with their legs wrapped around your waist, all you have to do is start breaking their toes.

all that mattered was the final round, and fedor had the most submission attempts with the guillotine and better standup.

This is an old fight- circa 2000. Both fighters have improved much. And there is no problem if fighters chose to have a grapling match if they have respect for each other. A great grapling match is Sakuraba Vs. Newton- that was incredible.

interesting fight in a way with the different rules, but not as exciting. would like to see these to go at it in a Pride fight. props to Arona for hanging in there against the best of all. Fedor seemed gassed early but somehow never lets it get to him.
