This five hour etch of LeBron James is sped up so that you can see every line he makes and step he takes to create a unique piece of pop art. This piece of artwork was created for the Quicken Loans Arena.

Obviously a bunch of kids have been voting on this. It's worth more than a 2.8 rating. If you knew how hard etch-a-sketch's are you'd be giving no less than a 5.

Nothing hard about it. Just extremely time consuming.

Means nothing more than the person had too much time on their hands. Anyone who knows how to draw from photo can do it. It has limited market value and very time inefficient.

Waste of time in the end unless you're one of few lucky ones who can sell that for enough money to retarded collectors.

obviously lots of people could draw accurate pictures on an etch-a-sketch. i don't think the value is in the picture but rather the fact that medium is an etch-a-sketch. you could maybe argue that he is making pictures of mass media/consumption type things like sports stars on a mass produced toy that almost everyone remembers from their childhood. or there could be some other meanings and readings to what he is doing. or maybe he is just doing a nice picture on a funky canvas to sell for money, in which case i guess it isn't really art anymore. either way it's probably not a waste of time.
