Michael Moore doesn't sit well with me. Let's see Oprah get
Alex Jones or the Loose Change crew up there and see what truths
they have to say - the world isn't ready for that shit! Health
insurance is the least of my worries, and i don't have any.

In plain truth, it's not about health insurance not covering
people well enough (or hardly at all), it's that doctors and
such need money (paper/digital credit) in return for saving
someone's life or helping them get better - anyone capable
should do that for free just because it's the right thing...
that is if you truly are interested on helping humanity
without being so selfish and greedy.

The bottom line is, if people keep thinking shiny metals,
pebbles, rocks, stones or paper and digital numbers actually
mean anything and are used as excuses for not living in a
better world or having a better life...something is obviously
flawed there!! the world needs to grow up already...

^ To suggest that people should leave the U.S. if they find fault with American policies seems rather short sighted. There are many social flaws in the United States. Would anyone argue that the U.S. is a perfect utopia? Assuming no one would make this claim, why then do people think that social commentary is unwarranted and undesired? Moreover, what is it to be American or to hate the U.S.? It's impossible to agree with all U.S. policies because many parts of the United States differ drastically on various social and political issues. For instance, we can look at the issue of gay rights. Many people have strong feelings on the issue. So is it the people who fight against or for gay rights who hate America? If there was no open dialog there would be no concession and nothing would be truly American.

I agree with Intellekt in that there is to much concern about money, however, this is not the fault of the doctors. To be a surgeon requires massive amounts of training. Becoming an M.D. can place many individuals over 100,000 student debt. Moreover, most specialized doctors are on call 24 hours. Arguably, a doctor's wealth is highly problematic when you consider the lack of universal health care, however, is it really the medical profession that is responsible for this? It's an interesting question especially when we consider the selective practices of insurance companies. At the very least, there is a real social problem here. I do not believe Michael Moore is doing anything wrong by trying to address that problem.

there is no point for americans to get pissed at micheal moore for his documentaries. this country was built on what he's doing, and that standing up for what he thinks is right. he's not anti-american. he's just not happy about the way it's goin, so he's trying to change it. exactly what the founding fathers did.
