This is me hand feeding in my display tank. The greedy one coming in from the left is a blue turquoise. The two red/yellow are Pigeon Bloods and then there's four brown.

That's cool. You've got a lot of patience to train them to do that, because it takes FOREVER. I'm still trying to get my turtle to eat from my hand, but hes only a couple of months old so it'll take a little longer.

Hehe, I sold my pirahnas a few months ago, got $10 a piece and got greedy + I needed the tank for my Brown pair. I had already seen them take a mice so I was no longer interested. I'm a Discus fanatic now.

And to tell you the truth it takes about three weeks, proper circumstances and a good school to handfeed. Discus is not easy to scare when they feel well. Once you follow the science Discus is actually very easy, but it does not forgive mistakes very often.

I got Bala sharks... and when I tried to feed em like that they panicked, jumped up and shifted the tank cover (which also housed the lighting). They are so freakin crazy, they knocked off the lid to the cover one night for no apparent reason. I wish I had calm fish like that.

Cool video. In one tank I have several black mollies that respond the same way for hand feeding, and some others varieties that play copycat with them. Pretty neat to watch how they sort of copy each other's behavior and foraging methods.

How large is this tank, btw?

You shouldn't feed fish by putting your hands in the tank. Your dirty hands have feces all over them. The fish now have feces. Great job.
