Courage? Honor? How do you know? For all you know, he could have had his legs blown off and not BEEN ABLE to get away. Or perhaps he tried to be a turncoat and was killed collaterally. Maybe he just didnt like the prospect of fighting anymore, and wanted to die like a soldier and have people like us look at his story and go "oooh ahhh what a guy".

we dont know why he did it and it accomplished one thing: another casualty.
