Yes, let's keep everyone to the same standards! If the U.S. has to cut 20%, then some backwards country in the middle of Africa has to oblige by the same standards..

Sigh.. When will the U.S. realize it's the biggest polluter in the world and therefore has to take the largest steps to reduce it's emissions.. I agree the China and Russia things aren't fair, but there's bound to be a way to solve that..

Here is a fact, Over 99% of Iceland's electricity is produced from hydropower and geothermal energy. Their population is 300,000 people, so who gives a rat's ass if their 1% carbon emission is allowed to go up to a whopping 1.1%

CNN is such a joke, Glenn Beck needs to go back to his rat hole...

So what if Wealthy countries like North america have to pay for the technology for climet related activities for less wealthy countries??? global warming is an issue that cant be ignored over something like money. i mean you cant spend that $$$ if were all dead...... our countries leaders have to put there pride aside and unite and make this a better and safer world to live in.

In a nutshell what Kyoto says is that the countries that have profitted the most from the use of energy, are the countries that have to pay the most for the damage that energy has caused.
