Loved this game back when. I enjoyed playing as kain in this episode more than raziel though.

Yeah, it was a hard but rewarding game.

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain for the playstation was easily my favorite over the entire series, although i enjoyed the story all through, they all seemed to have lost the cold hearted, blood thirsty, evil that the original portrayed ever so perfectly. Great games, but Blood Omen will forever be on a very, very, very dark pedestal above the others.

Damn this fight was epic, I also like the line Kain throws after escaping the afterworld: "[...]well, people always said that I was... heartless"

played most of blood omen 1 and none of 2. will have to finish them one day.

played all of soul reaver series including defiance and absolutely loved the series. easily one of my favourite games. storyline was fantastic. hope they decide to make another soon.

favourite part in defiance is when raz says to kain along the lines of "The two become one... both Soul Reavers... together... and the Scion of Balance is healed... And I am not your enemy... not your destroyer... I am, as before, your right hand...! Your sword...!" very powerful speech. settles their rivalry and are once again working together towards a common goal.

Seriously but i reckon the best part in the series ok not the best but one of the best plot points has to be

Raziel:

i remember watching that and going

OHHH ANOTHER ONE IS COMMING!! i love this franchise i cant wait till they decide to round off the story the only one i havent played is the original Legacy of Kain but you find out all that back story in the other games. I would by a playstation 3 just to play this game actually is how much i like it... man im a geek

Erm i dont remember much from the games, something about kain ripping off raziels wings for some reason, then throwing him off a cliff, turning him into the soul reaver. Anyone feel like clearing this up for me?
