neat but I hate to point out the obvious.. Oil retains heat. Ever heard of deep frying? Sure the initial cooling effects will be nice, but that oil is going to heat up eventually.

^ Hate to point this out to you but people don't usually leave their PCs on for 2 or more days at a time so during the off time it has time to cool off.

Well, they have done this at a few other places, and they have been getting better temps on the cpu and gpus than the best air and water cooling.

those 65 nm cores are sure doing their job, E6600 with stock fan and heat sink runs at 25 C, around 42C if clocked from 2.44 to 2.99 , so ^^Shazam0527, cooking oil is gona need way more than 25C to heat up, the oil will loose the heat faster than gaining it. VIVA INTEL

Ya the oil will transfer enough of the heat to the air that it will stay at a constant temp.

WOW that was actually pretty cool, if only the water was a little more misty then the blue would show up more and it would make my day.

When he said "what is an aquarium without buddies" i thought he was gonna put fish in that, my thought process was "fish + oil + computer = oh that can't be good" lucky he didn't, few Nemo escaped that one.

oh and on the subject of PS3, same process but with a PS3 would make the deep fryer of a life time, that thing over heats like a fat bitches inner thighs

Fixing a hardware prob would be a bitch, let alone messy. I'll stick with water cooling.
