power coming from the feet really makes sense. as you throw your punch your supposed to lift your heel off the ground and throw the extra weight into your hand and follow through.
never knew it happened like THAT tho. poor victim.

very awesome upload, but to comment on l3b3rt's post, i don't know where you learned to lift your heel off the ground like in the show, but that's not what boxers do. for instance, when tyson goes for a k.o., it's the momentum he creates from his weaves that go with the punch.

They should've mentionned the fact that you don't always need to be big, speed makes up for size.. and form is everything.

Also, I'm surprised they didn't mention the nerve that compresses behind the jaw that knocks you out, thereby naming the tip of the jaw "the button"

height matters? Bruce lee was around 5'8", nothing to astounding (evidently my height as well) and that guy could move mountains and bring down even the largest opponent. So I agree with Vdog, its all in the speed.

Well to some degree, height does matter. Because you have that much longer to gain momentum. I was talking about speed making up for sheer mass.
But yes a perfect example is someone like Lee, who generates tremendous power in relatively short distances with form and lightning speed. But it goes both ways, so if someone were bigger, taller, stronger, and even relatively as fast, they'd still hit way harder. People just forget that you don't need to hit with a haymaker to knock someone out, you just have to know where to hit, and how to do it.
