Can anyone explain to me why we fork out thousands of dollars for a coffin? The person is dead. They don't care what they are buride in. Save your money and buy a coffin from Costco or better yet bury them in a pine box.

When my parents will die, I'll bury them in the finest (not necessarily the most expensive) coffins I can find because I love them, it's simple as that. It's the reasoning "I love them so they deserve the best".

Put me in a coffin and confine my soul? Screw that idea! Just plant a tree on top of my ashes! The tree will grow to bear fruit. Birds will eat the fruit and crap my ashes all over the land. I'm going to be buried in a coffin and so will my parents.. I already have them picked out.. I can't stand the thought of burning my mom, and in a casket I can put things that she liked..like a pint of Crown Royal n' stuff
