Why do they charge so much money for enlightenment? If they really wanted to get their message out, they wouldn't have it all copyrighted.

It'd probably help their cause if absolutely everything their spokespeople say wasn't so susceptible to scrutiny.

Or if they didn't hire private investigators to dig up dirt on journalists.

Or if they didn't have a bunch of their members convicted of manipulating documents from the IRS.

Or if they just weren't so god damned creepy.

I'm fully aware of what exactly Scientology is. The thing is, I've proceeded past this concept you all tenaciously adhere to of actually "caring" about anything that goes on regarding humanity.

People are stupid. Given the right circumstances, they'll believe anything. If people with half a mind want to run around beating sense into every idiot they run into, they can go right ahead.

I'll deal with it one bullet at a time when they come knocking hard enough. Until then, I really have no formal plans to do anything about Scientology.

Getting all worked up about it will probably take away from my sleep time.

And so is every other religion. The only difference between the Scientologists and the Roman Catholic church, for example, is the Catholics have been around alot longer and had alot more time to force their beliefs on everyone.
