sri lanka has roads smaller than these, but the edges are canooed in so incase u fall u dont roll off too far. Ide rather just walk to the top or take a motorcycle, but those truck driver....man they got balls of steel.

We drove along California State Route 1 and that it like, wow, your driving, you've got about 4 feet to a barrier then a like a couple hundred feet of cliff drop the the Pacific. It worse cause we were hauling a trailer along it. This road is like suicide compared to Route 1

The coastal road from Lima in Peru down to Arequipa is similar to this. Not being able to watch, I decided the best thing to do was sleep!

Yea ive been in the mountain in a bus with roads similar to that one and to make it worst the driver was drunk. AND HE DID ALMOST KILL US, we had to tell him to go in the back and one of the passengers was driving.

mountain roads are crazy man. i've been on some with tropical weather and the rain and dirt makes it extra dangerous, but this road in the clip is so narrow, i bet i'd crap my pants going around every bend hoping there's no bad driver in a big truck or bus barrelling down at me

agility, i live in san francisco california and everytime i go down to monterrey i go down the 1, and while it looks hella dangerous, u gotta admit its some of the most beautiful views out to the pacific, especially at dusk, ive driven to mexico though, and trust me, some of those roads you cant even see the edge at night cause theres no lighting and all you have is your headlights to help u on them fuckin roads, scary as fuck

I'm Bolivian and I've been on that road many times and it's the scariest thing in the world. They did not even show the most scary parts on it. At one point on that road, you have to make a U-turn and the space I saw between the tire and the edge of the mountain was like 6 inches!!!! I freaked out. And the problem is that Bolivia is poor and the nature of that area (andes mountains) makes it an unstable place to put any advanced roads. And my uncle who was driving us was SPEEDING on that thing. I've been to roller coasters and shit but this was the scariest thing I ever been on.
