Once again we have people speaking for the victim as if they themselves were the victims. I think the father is embarrassed more than anything else, remember kids no one is dead from this "ordeal." In fact we don't even get to hear the girl's take on the matter. Was she coerced? Was she manipulated? Or did she consent, enjoy herself, and dad just found out and got pissed? If it was the latter (which im pretty sure it was since CNN wouldnt pass up a beautiful moment to get footage of a crying girl demanding that her perpetrator be put to jail) all we find is that such important questions that are skated over for the sake of family values. She's 14 guys, not a toddler. By the looks of it she has had sex before and is rational enough to know whether or not she wants to be on camera--I am a woman, I know.

Did it say where the video was? Was it sold, posted on the internet, or was it just in the home? Did the sexual activities take place before the girl was 14? Was the other person in the film significantly older? What level of participation or control did the girl have in these experiences? These are all important questions that need to be asked. Was this girl exploited, or was there more to this?

I know people will say it doesn't matter because this girl is 14, and that is only true to an extent. If this had been occurring when the girl was younger, then I would have little quarry with the idea the girl was in no way held any responsibility. It's not clear this was the case, though, and such I must say that 14 years old is plenty old for dealing with matters of sex.

A lot of people look back to themselves being ignorant of sex, but it's not because they couldn't have handled it if they could easily get their hands on reliable information, it's more because adults made sure they couldn't. Today we have the internet, which makes it nearly impossible for parents to have that level of influence on what a teenager knows of the world.

Was this irresponsible of the mother? I don't know, but probably yes. I do know this, though: A lot of people like those mother-daughter fucks on the internet (sometimes on spankwire), and although we know those are fantasy, and the women are attractive (somewhat), if this girl had been 4 years older (she could look 18 right now), a lot of you would spank it to that video without hesitation.

@ eazhar: You have heard the phrase 'Age of consent'? You apparently do not agree that 14 years old is too young to give consent to have sex. What would you have the limit dropped to? 12? 10? Let me know where to stop. What age do you, as a woman, believe should be the age of consent? And, as a woman, do you think those same laws should apply to just males or females?

Try to remember that the laws have absolutely nothing to do with whether it is a boy/girl/man/child/woman etc. This is not a gender issue, it is a law one. Perhaps a lot of children are sexually active at that age. Perhaps a lot of people smoke pot. Perhaps a lot of people drive drunk. That doesnt make it acceptable.

I dont care if YOU think she's old enough to know what she's doing. You're doing the same thing as many others: basing your estimate of her maturity on your own experiences. You cannot speak for that the same way as others cant speak for that. Just because you are 'a woman' doesnt mean you have more right to say what a particular human's maturity is. She was under the age of consent. This does not seem to matter to you.

The only thing I see you doing is being a spokeswoman for peodophiles all across the globe. "It's not that bad. She wanted it. She loved it. SHE came onto me!"

The old hag encouraged it. Documented it. That's what is called producing child pornography. There are boundaries. Several have been crossed in a big way here. That woman should be going to jail and be on a sexual predator watchlist indefinitely.
