If you teach them when they are 13 or early teens they end up with a giant chip on their shoulder and calloussly use their fighting skills without discipline or respect. Teach them when they are 8 or younger and they have much more respect for the art when they become older. Besides its better to learn a fighting skill than packing heat or knives.

Yeah, lets watch him do his thing for a few minutes before someone pulls a gun on him and blasts his fucking head off for being a dick when he grows up. Parents should teach their kids to resolve problems, not try to fight as soon as someone doesn't agree with them. Thats how school massacres happen. Everyone who can fight doesn't need a gun cos they can kick your ass, and every loner who gets a beat down can go buy a gun and blow your fucking brains out.

^^^ well just cuz that kid knows how to fight doesnt mean hes gonna go beat someone up for no reason. With great power come great responsibility. Who knows maybe hed be the one to save that old lady from getting her purse robbed, or that girls getting raped by the sex offender. It all comes down to how well that boy is raised.

I wish I had been put in martial art's as a child. When I have children they're totally getting put in it. Specially if it's a girl, won't have to worry about her as much then lol..

everyone should know how to defend themselves, this kid obviously isn't just being taught to run around and beat the fuck out of everyone. He is being trained on an actual fighting style. Does not mean he would kick the first person he see's in the throat, just means the first person to pick a fight with him is gonna get knocked the fuck out. So much violence in the world its practically stupid to not at least have SOME kind of defense or offensive training, just don't abuse the power that comes with knowing how to rip a head off with one kick :) 5/5

FagBag, I agree. I've found that those that are actually trained well in fighting are USUALLY the ones that avoid violence rather than start fights. All our guys at the club a punished severly if it's found out that they're using what they're taught to start street fights. Almost ALL of the most dangerous guys I know are usually the guy in the bar telling some asshole that they don't want any problems and to leave them alone, simply based on the fact that they know what they can do and don't have anything to prove. That's a little hint for all the bully's around.. If you go up to some quiet guy in a bar and try to start shit and he's very calmly telling you that he doesn't want any problems and to just go away, it's not 'cause he's scarred, he's doing you a favour.
Now obviously there are assholes around that train and pick fights to try to be cool. But for the most part it's always the wanna-be's trying to look tough and pick fights due to their insecurities and try to win gay-ass pissing contests in pubs.
One funny thing about this vis though is how the dad goes, "MMA (mixed Martial Arts) is his favorite of all the martial arts", when mma is not really a style, but a mesh of dozens of styles lol.
Kids going to be a bulldog when he's old enough to really generate some power though, good for him
