According to the MS site:
"You might see an account with the name "Owner" when you first log on. The owner account, with computer administrator privileges, is created during installation if no user accounts are set up at that time. You can rename this account with a user's name."
I think it's something that's formed if you don't set a username during the initial install of windows.

You cannot "hack" a computer with this. A limited user will be denied access to change an Admin password. If you are already Admin, you can do anything to the computer --- period. So this is not a surprise.

The message in command prompt is like so
C:/Documents and Settings\YOUR ACCOUNT NAME>net user YOUR ACCOUNT NAME *

So obviously you type in your account name as it is shown on the screen. It should be different for each individual unless you have the generic name of user when you log on.

Yes, it does work. It's fairly well known. It will not, however, work if your administrator has removed your privilege to change your own password or any other.

In other words... It's somewhat useless unless your admin's an idiot.

My school only allows us to log in as our student numbers via internet to access the computer. But hah! I accidentally found out if you take out the ethernet cable, I have full access to admin. And we got new computers too.. so haha, playing Half Life 2 + CS Source Lan (32 players) fucking rocks! Our librarians pretty fucking good at headshots. I think she's a hacker.
