Yeah you see, theese guys (Fry, Laurie, Black.. I mean Atkinson and so on) has been famous in Europe even BEFORE House and Mr.Bean. Amazing huh?

S4 is my favourite (together with s2 and s3 ;P) because of its satirical portrait of the inglory of war (ww1 in this case). Blackadder reminescens about how easy war for Britain used to be. Killing natives armed with guava halves and kiwi fruit and its contrast to elite trained germans with heavy machineguns.
Also he tries to escape (sorry, desert) in every episode or so with hilarous consequences :P
Their acting has really matured in S4 and everyone of the Blackadder gang delivers top notch performance.

Super series!

..I hope Entropy does not really think that television is an American invention? Id like to state im not overly patriotic and i dont mean this in a we are better than anyone sort of way but Tv is a British thang no?The guy who discovered photoconductivity of selenium which is the basis behind TV was a Brit. Also the first guy to demonstrate a working TV was John Logie Baird also a Brit. Although to be fair its hard to pin exactly who invented it those two dudes generaly get the most credit for obvious reasons. So hah!

I loved the last episode of S4 Blackadder, it may not have been as funny as the others but I thought they really depicted the trajedy of WW1 with allot of respect.

Someone upload the later bit of this episode, where he meets the Red Baron! Bloody best scene ever...
