anyways, that's cool. i wonder if he can make it so you can use your cell phone or laptop to control the gun while you're away from home. i think he said it operates from just a different room in the same house? camera view was a bit small though, probably could use 2 cameras, one for the sight and one for wider angle view

noob. Sorry, military already has mobile robots that mount anything from a P90 to a rocket launcher. Trained Ops use a large foldable briefcase that houses all the controls for it. In a few monthes I'll have my vid posted. Imagine that on a powerwheels jeep with a onboard computer and two-way audio and video, remote controlled up to 300 feet away on a wireless network. So far, 4 backup batteries providing power allowing about 6 hours of uptime. Unless im arrested first, keep your eyes peeled.

There was a guy in the states who tried something similar to this but with a shotgun. Apparently thieves kept breaking into his business after hours and the police were completely useless to provide help so he decided to boobytrap the front door and sure enough when the thieves broke back in BOOM! headshot. The owner of the business is now serving time in prison, so anybody thinking of doing it might want to hit the books to make sure your not the one getting arrested

Nice, though, if you have an intelligent criminal they would just come prepared for something like that such as heavy vest, eye/head protection, ect.. (talking as if it were later years and it became popular with many using it.)

My approach would be stainless steel or copperguards around the house, windows, doors, ect.. attach high voltage similar (but higher) to an electric fence. Then in hallways, ect.. equip electronic sliding steel panels which would slap closed to trap the intruder there until police arrive. Leave an open slot above (chute) where tear gas, ect.. could be deployed in the event the person is carrying a weapon.

Anyhow, cool stuff in the video regardless :P
