Amazing... Simply amazing... Just the idea of anthropology taking an interest in how we and the web work together is amazing, a science that studies the cultural and biological evolution of man kind has included the web as one of its major topics of study is pretty interesting indeed... Sorta changes my perspective on the old prejudice I had vs my anthropology classes where we spent hours just drooling over some projector showing slides of human history.

gotta love the whole anthropology/sociology thing.

Telling us what we already know in under 5 minutes.

And then acting all cocky and "know-it-all" about it.

I personally think Web 2.0 is a huge gimmick and scam to get people to throw in an assload of money for nothing.

How can you manage a worldwide entity, when the entire world is divided.

We must unite our people before we unite the intarweb.

Were living in a time where sci-fi is becoming real, right under our noses. The tech we thought was improbable, is already here. http://asimo.honda.com/ is a good example. All thats left is AI that can mimic human behavior, and its right around the corner. If youve ever played a game of chess against a computer on a hard skill setting, youve had a glimpse of whats to come. The "machine" is smarter than us. And with Asimo, were giving it a tool to interact with us. Were nurturing something that isnt understood. But it is both great, and terrible.
