Just like Natural Born Killer's tried to point out heh.. the media turn's these people in to fucking celebrities.. infamy goes a long way. Suddenly he's become a Martyr to people with his current frame of mind. He's the most famous person in the world at the moment and they are showing all these video's on fucking CNN.. it's pathetic. Anything to make a buck.. fuckin US. (I'll probably edit this to make a better point shortly.. just had to get a word in.. frustrating shit.)

im pretty sure some one is gonna blame it on guns. I hate it when people blame guns... guns dont kill people, people kill people. if you take guns away from the normal people, whats gonna stop criminals and fuckers like this? just look at drugs
drugs are illegal yet people get them because of the underground network. you cant stop it. the best you can do is get a gun learn, about gun safety, and hope you never have to use it.

Hell no im not blaming it on guns, I blame it on this piece of shit.. And where he bought the guns, they should have done a background check and seen that he was mentally ill and therefore denied the sale of the guns to this fuck.. Shouldve been locked up and treated instead of just let loose on soceity..

wow, i didn't even know bullies exist in post secondary educational institutes... how immature can one be making fun of anothers' speech impediment, especially past the age of 20.
now, i'm not condoning this kind of behavior. by no means do i consider the people who make fun of other people deserve to die or whatever. i just can't believe even in the university level there are still people who act like they're in high school..

it wasn't so much his impediments as his mental "disorders", i think. He had some serious depression problems (which could be anything, it's the psychoanalysts's catchall for "i don't know"). I'm guessing he had some serious shit they didn't catch or he didn't reveal, and one day he forgets the meds; bandaid comes off; world crumbles.

That's my theory.

This guy's main problem was being unable to communicate effectively. When you don't talk to anybody, you get all these misconceptions about what people are like, and because you don't really get to know anybody, those perceptions are never challenged or corrected. It's clear in the video that he'd come to a point where he felt people in general (at the university) were oblivious to pain, and he probably felt really alone when he couldn't fit in well. He probably never understood that people deal with feelings of alienation and not belonging all the time, since he didn't bother relating to anybody. Obviously his encounters with women turned out pretty humiliating if they call the cops to keep him away. What caused him to go into his shell to begin with is a question psychologists are really barely beginning to understand, whether it be genetics, a negative environment, humiliating experiences, etc.

What I'm really pissed about is how this kind of media coverage is just going to create more ignorant stereotyping, instead of helping people be more considerate of those who feel unloved. (Koreans are especially distressed about the racial stereotypes that might come up now.) Tragedies are sad, but they are NEVER RANDOM. They happen because something needs attention desperately. This boy's decision was wrong, but please don't ridicule his personality or his behavior before the incident like he's a freak, because that kind of judging is what alienates people in the first place.

I knew this video would come up eventually...

I have no sympathy for him, no compassion, none whatsoever. If, by his account, someone had to die, I wish he would have just shot himself and save all those innocent families the absolute horror of losing their children and loved ones.

It's obvious the guy needed help, but I can't bring myself to blame guns, to blame those who mocked him, or to blame anyone else but the lowlife who held the gun in the first place.

He pulled the trigger, not the ones who accosted him.

hey U.S.A give the rite for idiots like this to bear arms and expect to get shot, yes sadly thats how it works, why give ppl the rite to bear arms when it`s illeagle to shoot ppl; kinda defeats gee don`t ya think? yeah gee ya think! how long will it take for the wake up call to get thru? how many more massacres do you need for reality to set in and say "hey you know this hey this whole gun thing just isn`t work`n"? how many ,more people do you want to see die before you initiate gun laws that don`t let people like this walk into a store, buy a gun and commit mass murder? i mean when will enough be enough for you guys, it only takes the wrong word or a missread look b4 a person snaps and abandons all logic and has simply had enough? no guns don`t kill people but guns are used to kill people. so is the rite to bare arms so rite knowing and seeing what can and does happen? if u want to continue to let ppl like this carry a gun then "don`t complain" when they use it, after all you want them to have the rite to have access to a gun then it`s up to them what them do with it.

The thing about the stuff that he had written, spoke of, and done is that they are almost the exact things I have written, spoke of, and done in the past. I actually feel this guy's pain because I'm also an East Asian who was a social outcast and a loner that had almost the same views as he did. I was able to relate because I believed in them too. Note that I'm somehow using the past tense.

Honestly, if I had a gun during high school, I might have done the same thing he did.

Fortunately for me though, I never did. As time went by, I started to have friends who showed kindness to me and I started to believe in humanity once again. Despite living in such a corrupted neighborhood and with dishonorable people in the midst, I began to see things differently. I went through a lot of changes in my philosophies, personality, and demeanor.

Nowadays, my philosophy in life is to "Live life lovingly" and that my best revenge against those I used to despise is to not be like them.

Let me remind you, if there are hecklers out there, that I became more human, not more of a pussy. Alright?

Sadly though, Cho never got to experience the same thing I did. He wasn't able to see beyond anger and hatred, therefore, I am sorry for him and for his victims, both dead and alive.

As for you people, have a heart and show "weirdos" and "outcasts" at least some bits of compassion and that they're humans as well, while it's still early. I know it's hard for most people to approach such parodies of humanity, but I can tell you from first hand experience that it did work for me. To help everyone past anger and negativity is to save a soul. I guarantee that.

But with that guy, he was already in the point of no return. The Korean son of a bitch was too fucked up to be saved. I always say that once you can't get beyond angst by the time you reach the age of 20, it'll stay with you for life. It really is too bad, but sometimes, some souls are beyond rescue. So let me ask America one simple question.

How the FUCK did that guy get a hold of guns? (I know that he was already an adult, but why did it have to be so easy to get some?)

PS: I have a Korean schoolmate in college whose surname is also Cho. He must be pissed by now.
