Not that I disagree with the sentiment that the visual choices for this adaptation are terrible... but does anyone else feel like maybe fans are expecting too much?

Now, I like DBZ, it is fun. SO please don`t hate me too much when I mention that its really not a very good story.

The plot gets inane after the first 50 or so episodes, and even in the proper Japanese dubs, the story and dialogue is never great.

Yes it would be better done CG, but this is a movie aimed at the youngsters watching it now, not at us older fans who still like it despite the quality issues.

Let`s see how far I get voted down.

Edit: Lets just hope if Death Note or Cowboy Bebop ever gets the Hollywood treatment that such terrible stylistic choices are not made.

^ Hell man, Death Note is a great movie already. I *really* hope Hollywood doesn`t touch it. I can`t think of any US actor who could do L justice.
