EVE isn`t hard... it`s just boring. Some skills take weeks to learn and you can only learn one at a time? Fuck that. Eventually you end up paying to be offline waiting for shit to level.

In case some people don`t know, POTBS is Pirates of the Burning Sea. And I agree, EvE is the most hardcore MMO, enter at your own risk.

I would still recommend WoW or Lotr if you are really going to bite the bullet and give up your life to an MMO.

I played Eve and WoW, ended up getting so bored i stopped playing.
I honestly dont know how anyone can keep playing either of those games... but props to them if they do, atleast they are doing something with their lives.. i think =S

^Lol, I played WoW for a few weeks and Eve for a few days, and I also found them pretty boring. Though it all depends on who you play with...
Anyway, I don`t see how the people who keep playing are doing something with their lives. Sounds more like the opposite to me :)

so true - but EVE does give you something back - most intense battles in MMORPG, politics and role play - the main drawback is that you have to spend at least a half a year leveling up to get a desent ship and weapons
