Video:$9 Trillion Unaccounted For...

$9 trillion unaccounted for...

"the federal reserve apparently can`t account for $9 trillion in off-balance sheet transactions. when rep. alan grayson (d-orlando) asked inspector general elizabeth coleman of the federal reserve some very basic questions about where the trillions of dollars that have come from the fed`s expanded balance sheet, the ig didn`t know....."

Video:Fed Lends Trillions

fed lends trillions

so, you know about the treasury's $700 billion bailout plan. but you probably don't know that the federal reserve has lent out about $2 trillion since september. few do. and that is what's irritating bulldog congressman alan grayson. will he be able to shed a light on the fed's secret spending?

Video:9 Places the Government Might Have Lost $1.3 Trillion Last Year

9 places the government might have lost $1.3 trillion last year

1. up george’s nose
he claims to be off the drugs, but his speech patterns say otherwise. it’s that far-away look in his eyes that tell the experienced observer where his mind is; on his next fix. i wouldn’t be surprised to find out that we have never seen george w. sober. except maybe the drunk kind of sober, which means he stopped doing coke for a few days and just stuck to beer for a while.

2. dick cheney’s retirement fund
of course, with the success of the halliburton company, one could argue he wouldn’t need it. oh yeah? look closer into his eyes. you have seen that look before. think back to your childhood. yes, it is scrooge mcduck. look closer at his wife. is that launchpad? my god it is!

3. the cracks in the roads?
they are certainly big enough. maybe city officials just don’t fix them because they have a time machine and where we’re going, we don’t need roads. we don’t need roads because no one will be able to afford gas…

4. michael moore ate it
michael moore has been silent for quite some time now. it is all due to the bush administration’s “feed the liberals” program. they take guys like michael moore and bill clinton and offer them a free buffet to keep them silent. fat guys love popeye’s chicken, and popeye’s chicken isn’t cheap.

5. the bush twins had an orgy
i remember the cheap motel and two cute but bitchy white girls trying to feed me some kind of morphine through a tube straw up my ass. i protested, please believe that… i protested with all my might! it just wasn’t enough. those two psycho whores got me right where i shit! after that nothing was the same…

6. arming the troops?
of course. it must have been all that invisible body armor they distributed! oh wait, my bad. they don’t need body armor because “jesus” will protect them. fuck all that. we have the most advanced military the world has ever seen. there is no reason the men should not get free armor. that should just be a default to war. everyone gets free armor.

7. gas prices?
driving is getting to be just as bad as a heroin habit. these washington guys get driven around a lot. it’s not as cheap as it used to be for bush to fire up old air force one and chase down brown people all over the world. between this and his cocaine habit, he could blow a few billion in a year no problem…

8. red foreman
because red foreman should make every list. it doesn’t matter the subject, red should be at least 8 or better. in red’s own words, “i might be the only guy in here who has actually killed a man.”

9. i stole it!
that’s right, i stole it. i used it all to build a laser, which i subsequently traded for a few joints and a cigarette the other day. i smoked all that, so it’s pretty much gone now. sorry. my bad.

Video:How to Lose a TRILLION Dollars

how to lose a trillion dollars

there have been those who for the last decade or so have been busy sewing the seeds of this disaster.

republicans have been busy working for less market regulations, and now we get the bill for it. 3000 dollars per american. 12 000 dollars for a family of four.

the regulators are there to ensure this sort of thing doesnt happen. they are insurance.

you can always save money by not having regulators, but then you really have no one else but yourself to blame when you find that the unregulated market has run amuck.

whoever wins the next election is financially screwed. however it really doesnt make much sense to vote for a man like mccain, after all, it is primarily the policies this man advocated that are responsible for the current financial crisis. this has just cost me about 3000 dollars if im lucky, my job if im not.

not unlike iraq really? remember mccain, the military man saying before the invasion how it was going to be easy, sunni n shia never fought, we will be greeted as liberators etc?

you cannot question the grit of a man like mccain, however being tortured does not count as experience at military leadership. indeed it appears that on most issues on which mccain has expressed a military opinion, he has been critically wrong.

Video:Trillions of Missing Dollars!

trillions of missing dollars!

rep. alan grayson asks the federal reserve inspector general about the trillions of dollars lent or spent by the federal reserve and where it went, and the trillions of off balance sheet obligations. inspector general elizabeth coleman responds that the ig does not know and is not tracking where this money is.

Video:Man Sues For 1784 Billion, Trillion Dollars

man sues for 1784 billion, trillion dollars

dalton chiscolm is unhappy about bank of america's customer service - really, really unhappy.

mr chiscolm in august sued the largest us bank and its board, demanding that "1784 billion, trillion dollars" be deposited into his account the next day. he also demanded an additional $200,164,000, court papers show.

attempts to reach mr chiscolm were unsuccessful.

a bank of america spokesman declined to comment.

"incomprehensible," us district judge denny chin said in a brief order released thursday in manhattan federal court.

"he seems to be complaining that he placed a series of calls to the bank in new york and received inconsistent information from a 'spanish woman'," the judge wrote.

"he apparently alleges that checks have been rejected because of incomplete routing numbers."

judge chin has experience with big numbers. he's the judge who sentenced bernard madoff to a 150-year prison sentence for what the government called a $us65 billion ($75 billion) ponzi scheme.

bank of america faces real legal problems, including new york attorney general andrew cuomo's threat to sue its chief executive and a judge's embarrassing rejection of a settlement with the us securities and exchange commission.

yet the money mr chiscolm wants could dwarf all the bank's other problems.

it's larger than a sextillion dollars, or a 1 followed by 21 zeros. chiscolm's request is equivalent 1 followed by 22 digits.

the sum also dwarfs the world's 2008 gross domestic product of $60 trillion, as estimated by the world bank.

"these are the kind of numbers you deal with only on a cosmic scale," said sylvain cappell, new york university's silver professor at the courant institute for mathematical sciences.

"if he thinks bank of america has branches on every planet in the cosmos, then it might start to make some sense."

judge chin gave chiscolm until october 23 to better explain the basis for his claims, or else see his complaint dismissed.
