since malcolm glazer and his family took over the biggest soccer team in the world, manchester united, the uk tabloids have been full of sarcastic stories that the american billionaire wouldn't understand the game. now, according to an article in british tabloid the sun yesterday, it seems they've been proved right.
the sun reports that malcolm glazer's sons, joel, avi and bryan have hired translators to sit next to them as they watch the club's games and explain the rules to them.
the paper's source explained that they needed help to understand the chanting of the fans and to help explain some of the games more obscure rules. the source explains "they were bemused when their own team threw the ball to the opposition but were told it was good sportsmanship.
"it also had to be explained who the 'b***ard in the black' was, especially as the ref was wearing green. they found that funny."
