introducing the worlds newest fastest production car the ssc ultimate aero from wikipedia: the ssc ultimate aero is a supercar built by shelby super cars in order to rival the new bugatti veyron with speeds of over 250 mph (400 km/h) and a 0-60 mph time of 2.78 seconds. the car is the world's fastest production car at 256.15 mph (412.233 km/h), a speed reportedly achieved on september 13 2007 in west richland, wa. the results of this test, verified by guinness world records on october 9 2007, gave the ssc aero the world's fastest production car title.

15th october 1997 - black rock desert nevada driver: andy green top speed: 763.035mph - mach 1.020 the first ever supersonic world land speed record this car produces 22.32 tons of thrust. in the pic the car is only doing 728 mph[1067.7333 ft/s]
meet the new king. guinness world record run - 256.18 mph not quite sure if this is the video of said run , but who cares... it is still badass. btw it costs half as much as the veyron.
ultimate aero tt : one of the fastest supercars in the world running at high speed. there are arguments as to whether this car is better or faster than the bugatti veyron etc, but i just like to see these cars doing what they were designed to do, regardless of which logo happens to be on the bonnet.
