this is a video of a person who takes her very first skydive jump using the aaf method. aff stands for "accelerated free fall" and is a method to teach people to skydive. it follows 7 jumps in which the stundent has to perform several manouvres while falling, different manouvres on each level. in the first level, as seen in the video, the student is balanced by two instructors. the student must perform a pulling motion and check the altimeter to demonstrate she is able to pull it on her own. if you ever plan on learning how to skydive, this is probably how your first jump will look like. also take notice at the cesna plane descending at the same speed and circling the skydivers several times.

this is a skydive video from last weekend me and some friends jumping through a thick cloud base (i believe it was about 1500 to 2000ft thick). i like this video cause you can see the freefall speed when pass through a large hole in the cloud base at about 155 mph.
a redneck wanted to learn how to skydive, so he got an instructor and started his lessons. the instructor told the redneck to jump out of the plane and pull his ripcord. the instructor then explained that he himself would jump out right behind him so that they would go down together. the redneck understood and was ready. when the time came for the redneck to jump from the airplane, the instructor reminded the redneck that he would be right behind him. the redneck proceeded to jump from the plane and after being in the air for a few seconds, pulled the ripcord. the instructor followed by jumping from the plane. the instructor pulled his ripcord but the parachute did not open. the instructor, frantically trying to get his parachute open, darted past the redneck. the redneck, seeing this, yelled as he undid the straps to his parachute, "so you wanna race, huh?"
