guy finishes a rubik's cube with only one hand in less than 30 seconds.
this guy first memorizes the positions of the blocks on a rubik's cube then solves it blindfolded. wow, and i have trouble remembering my own phone number!
i am sick of the rubik's cube being used to show just how damned smart some character is supposed to be in movies. not impressed... armageddon brick pursuit of happiness
after studying the cube for several seconds, this robot is capable of solving the puzzle in record time. it's a shame that it looks so cheesy.
woman on the left man on the right
cool collection of creatively made cakes.
this guy successfully finishes a rubik's cube completely blind folded.
this is a video demo of the first prototype of rubot. this is a rubik's cube solving robot from dublin, ireland. you can just about make out the web cam on the left of the video. it really works and can solve the cube usually in about 20 moves and can take 15 minutes so just to make the video short, i didn't mix the cube too hard for this solve and omitted the scan sequence. the website is now defunct; i might put another one on if there is enough comments. i have just started the second prototype which will be pneumatically controlled rather than servos.
article submitted by ug7433. it has taken most of his life – but, after 26 years, builder graham parker has finally solved the puzzle of the rubik's cube. when he bought the toy in 1983, yuri andropov was leader of the soviet union, breakfast tv was a novelty and music cds were in the shops for the first time. 'i cannot tell you what a relief it was to finally solve it,' the 45-year-old from portchester, hampshire, said. 'it has driven me mad over the years – it felt like it had taken over my life. 'i have missed important events to stay in and solve it and i would lie awake at night thinking about it. 'i have had wrist and back problems from spending hours on it but it was all worth it. when i clicked that last bit into place and each face was a solid colour, i wept.' wife jean, 47, said it had felt like there had been three people in their marriage. 'when i met graham, he was already obsessed with the cube – spending hours on it every day,' she said. 'i have often thought about getting rid of it but i knew he would not rest until he had solved it.' a spokesman for the governing body for competitions involving the puzzle, the world cube association, said it was 'definitely the longest it has taken' to finish the cube. source
i don't even know where i put mine.
the "rubix cubewich" contains "cubes of pastrami, kielbasa, pork fat, salami, and two types of cheddar."
simply amazing skill from this young japanese kid.
this is the new version of rubot by pete redmond from dublin, ireland. it's very different to the prototype but it has to be the coolest looking robot solver ever. there are cameras in the eyes of the head that scan the cube before the pneumatic arms solve it. it usually solves the cube in a max of about 50 seconds (not including the scan) no matter how much it is mixed up. the solving algorithm is taken care of by herbert kociemba's cube explorer software and usually solves the cube in a maximum of about 20 moves. in this video, the cube wasn't mixed up too hard so rubot was able to find the optimum solution. thanks to all of those who think it is too good to be true. that is a real compliment!
the nerd in the blue gets a boner, haha.
remember that guy who did it blindfolded? chicks can do it too!
