the pastor entered his donkey in a race and it won. the pastor was so pleased with the donkey that he entered it in the race again, and it won again. the local paper read: pastor's ass out front the bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered the pastor not to enter the donkey in another race. the next day, the local paper headline read: bishop scratches pastor's ass. this was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the pastor to get rid of the donkey. the pastor decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent. the local paper, hearing of the news, posted the following headline the next day: nun has best ass in town . the bishop fainted. he informed the nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey, so she sold it to a farmer for $10. the next day the paper read: nun sells ass for $10 this was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the nun to buy back the donkey and lead it to the plains where it could run wild. the next day the headlines read: nun announces her ass is wild and free the bishop was buried the next day. the moral of the story is....being concerned about public opinion can bring you much grief and misery...and even shorten your life. so be yourself and enjoy life... stop worrying about everyone else's ass and you'll be a lot happier and live longer! have a nice day!

a fundamentalist church pastor had sex with two of his teenage daughters to educate them on how to be good wives, a south australian court has heard. the 54-year-old man, who cannot be named, was today sentenced in the sa district court to eight and a half years jail after pleading guilty to seven counts each of incest and unlawful sexual intercourse. the court heard that the man had sex with his daughters for nearly a decade from 1991 when they were aged 13 and 15 at the family property. the sex took place at various locations including in a shearer's shed, a paddock, on the back of a ute and, on one occasion, at the girls' grandparents house. the man told the court the sex was not about fulfilling his desires but about teaching his daughters how to behave for their husbands when they eventually married, as dictated in scripture. in sentencing, judge david lovell said the misrepresentation of scripture used to justify the abuse of the girls "defied belief", and that he had "hypocritically betrayed" his religion and principles. "you said the acts were about learning about sex rather than engaging in the acts of sex," judge lovell said. "i do not accept that. "you treated your daughters as your property ... using them to satisfy and gratify your sexual urges." judge lovell gave full credit for the man's guilty pleas, saying he was genuinely remorseful and had a good chance of rehabilitation as his wife and the church remained supportive. the man will be eligible for parole in four years. smh.com

waco, texas - a pastor performing a baptism was electrocuted inside his church sunday morning after adjusting a nearby microphone while standing in water, a church employee said.
the rev. kyle lake, 33, was stepping into the baptistery as he reached out for the microphone, which produced an electric shock, said university baptist church community pastor ben dudley.
water in a baptistery usually reaches above the waist, said byron weathersbee, interim university chaplain at baylor university.
lake was pronounced dead at hillcrest baptist medical center, nursing supervisor pat mahl said. the woman being baptized apparently had not stepped into the water and was not seriously injured.
pastors at university baptist church routinely use a microphone during baptisms, said jamie dudley, the wife of ben dudley and a business administrator at the church.
"he was grabbing the microphone so everyone could hear," she said. "it's the only way you can be loud enough."
about 800 people attended the morning service, which was larger than normal because it was homecoming weekend at nearby baylor university, dudley said.

the pastor of a charlotte harbor church had 16 church members booted from a service after they allegedly refused to stop singing and let the clergyman preach.
deputies were called at 10 a.m. saturday by pastor david noel of the seventh day adventist church on harborview road.
noel told a deputy he was instructed by regional church superiors to involve law enforcement to remove the rogue choir.
the deputy issued trespass warnings to the group, and all 16 left the church without incident.
the sheriff's office got another call from the church shortly before noon when a parishioner wanted to file assault charges against noel.
edourd pierrelus, 57, of port charlotte, said noel got mad at him, hit him in the chest and twisted his earlobe during a church service a week earlier.
the man told the deputy the entire congregation of 25 witnessed the attack. pierrelus said that because of the way the singing dispute was resolved, he now wanted to pursue charges of simple battery.
deputies say the dispute is rooted in concerns about the handling of church funds. the members of the rogue choir told deputies they'd handle those concerns within the church.
