alan is trying to get a tv deal with two irish producers. he doesn't want them to know he's been living in a cheap hotel for months however. so alan asks a man who earlier wanted his autograph, if he can pretend he lives in his house. alan takes the two back there, but it quickly becomes obvious that this is more than just a fan.
