since there has been a flood of idiots and/or crap lately we have decided to put together a little guide on submitting that should be near impossible for anyone who reads it to fuck up. capitalize every first letter for your title like this there has been a flood of videos that are all caps or no caps lately and it's giving me a headache. the title and description should actually be a title and description. if you name your video "omg lol" with a description of "wahct it iz funnay" or any such variant that doesn't do a good job of describing it easily so that people searching can find it... it will be changed and i don't want your dumb ass bitching "omg y wuz it editd stuped adminz!" tags. now... i'd think this would be simple... keywords for the video. every day i get keywords that are totally random and have nothing to do with the video or should not be under keywords. do not put crap like "is" for a keyword. additionally a video about making shirts should not have keywords such as "granny rape taco bell bleeding anus". seperate tags with spaces, do not use comas! it says right below the keyword field. if you use comas then nothing will register and your related media field will be totally empty. there has been way too many embedded videos lately and untill crave makes it so there is a screenshot for them instead of that crappy gray blob it just looks really ugly. here is a site for people to rip the video from popular sites into a .flv format. keepvid. it might not say it under "formats accepted" but .flv is totally supported and a lot easier on our convert server. the video will process and show up a lot quicker than using .wmv or .mov formats. if you're still too damn lazy to do this and are embedding it... (youtubers take notice since this problem is always from you people) there is a magic little thing called embed code that you use to embed video. amazing concept huh? don't just grab the url and stick it in... then post it 5-6 times in a row exactly the same confused as to why it isn't working. a few other misc things... if your video is deleted... don't keep posting it 5-6 more times all pissed off/confused and leaving comments like "fucking faggotz omg quit deleting this!11". it is being deleted for a reason and you're going to get a warning placed on your account if you keep posting it. animated .gifs do not work and we do not know when/if they will ever be. the "problem?" menu does not work and as long as i have been an admin never has. it does nothing. additionally we do not look at every single video/picture/whatever. don't say just "repost!!!!!!!!1111eleventyone1" if something is a repost or there is excessive racism going on report it in the report problems with articles thread in the forums. make sure to link to the article and the orig version it is a repost of. "omg omg this video is on the front page with only 70 votes?!?! wtf hax omg!!!" how about you people actually vote on videos in the recently added section and i won't need to manually promote/archive everything. i go to bed and wake up... how many videos made it on their own? 3. crave is going to start up the contests again soon and you pay for contest tickets with xp. vote now and build up a nice bulk for things you want to try to win! i hate you all.

arkansas: seems this guy wanted some beer pretty badly. he decided that he'd just throw a cinder block through a liquor store window, grab some booze, and run. so he lifted the cinder block and heaved it over his head at the window.
the cinder block bounced back and hit the would-be thief on the head, knocking him unconscious. seems the liquor store window was made of plexi-glass. the whole event was caught on videotape.
if you're going to act all bad ass and try to kick some skaters out of a parking lot, make sure one of them isn't mike valley first.
