Video:
a speech by hamas leaders.
hamas terrorists fire footage from a un boys' school.
this video is made by an arab and discusses the violence that everyday palestinians face at the hands of hamas, when they do not agree with them. please watch until the end of the video. warning: this footage may be disturbing to some viewers.
"your not serious are you?" asks the incredulous interviewer as mark regev blows up the bs detector. regev suggests that many of the palestinian dead were killed by hamas! mark regev on fine ludicrous form again.
by dennis kucinich
reporter in israel.
maybe now you'll understand the difficult situation that the idf and iaf are in.
palestinian president mahmoud abbas vetoed a hamas initiative to create a new security force, to be headed by jamal abu samhadana, leader of the popular resistance committee (prc).
samhadana is second on israel's most-wanted list.
abbas, member of the fatah party, which lost the election to hamas earlier this year, commands several security forces, while the interior minister, member of hamas, controls the rest. abbas has the right to veto senior government appointments, but it seems that hamas may go forward regardless.
according to hamas, the new security force is needed to bring peace to gaza. fatah however, feels that the new security force is a means to control the current security forces, loyal to fatah.
hamas political leader khaled mashaal said friday in response to the veto, “we can understand that israel and america are seeking ways to besiege and starve us. but what about the sons of our people who are plotting against us, who are following a studied plan to make us fail?”
the fatah party said in a statement. “we view gravely the speech by khaled meshaal. we can only describe the speech as sedition that aims to cause tension in the palestinian field and instigate a civil war upon orders from his masters.”
it seems that the palestinians may face an internal battle for power.
in an "accidental" slip a uk interviewer calls hamas spokesman "osama hamdan" "osama bin laden" just as the satellite feed drops. interesting as hamdan had just been telling him that yasser arafat had been killed by the israelis!
