one of my many favorite pink floyd songs. footage of nuclear tests and explosions with the song but this song has the best guitar solo in my opinion or in other words i love the guitar solo, it gives me chills. enjoy

brilliant song performed by pink floyd in pompeii. at about 2:37 the drummer drops his stick and does an amazing job at not losing a beat. great skills from the drummer throughout and guitarist, as the original, recorded version of the song is a song played in reverse, so they do well to pull it off as good as they did.

song is called astronomy domine(one of my favorites). this was at the kastival (festival in kasterlee) in belgium in 1968. this is with david gilmore and not syd barrett. i got plenty of pf on file if people want more.

the person who put this together did some magical work to get it synced up. from what i hear they made this promo film back in 67 for the "ministry of information". the band chose "jugband blues" for the song. film never came out, was presumed lost or never in existance. it resurfaced in 1999 in germany lacking soundtrack and was a bit messed up. this person took it put the song to it, bit of editing to sync it up. enjoy.
