some teens throw feces at a woman at a local walgreens.
a 39-year-old construction worker has been arrested for throwing his own feces at women passers-by from a motorcycle in two separate attacks in western japan. the man turned himself in after making the second drive-by attack in settsu, a satellite city near osaka, and was detained on suspicion of assault, a municipal police spokesman said. the worker, identified as tatsuya moriguchi, committed a similar assault in the same city on august 3, the police official said. "the suspect has told investigators he did it because he felt frustrated when his work didn't go well," the official said. "i have no idea what kind of penalty he may face. i have not heard about such a case before." in the first incident, moriguchi relieved himself outdoors just before getting on his moped and throwing the feces at the head of a woman in her 20s, the official said. source
a substitute teacher been told not to come back to a wichita school after she told misbehaving students to clean up the mess left when someone defecated in the back of a fourth-grade classroom.
several parents at gammon elementary school raised concerns, said school district spokeswoman susan arensman. the teacher, whose name was not released, was filling in for a teacher on maternity leave.
after discovering the feces on tuesday, arensman said three students began laughing and acting up. that's when the teacher assigned the clean-up punishment. it was unclear who had defecated or whether it was done purposely.
arensman said an investigation is ongoing. no decisions have been made about whether the teacher will be allowed to teach at other wichita schools.
cheryl ward, who has a kindergartner and second-grader at gammon, said the teacher's actions could have put the children's health at risk.
"there can be hepatitis and all sorts of things spread through human feces," said ward, an emergency medical technician. "it just doesn't make sense to have children cleaning that up."
arensman said she spoke with the teacher.
"she was more upset that news stories about this are making the school and her kiddos look bad," she said. "it's really unfortunate."
this teacher sucks...

sydney (reuters) - a bitter row has broken out between one of sydney's largest tourist pubs and a family of five who accused chefs of serving human excrement in their gelato after they complained about noise during a football match. state government food minister ian macdonald confirmed on wednesday that frozen fecal matter had been found in a serving of chocolate gelato offered to placate pub patron steve whyte and his wife jessica, who became "violently ill" after eating it. "the stench went through my nostrils, i retched and spat it into the napkin," jessica whyte told the daily telegraph newspaper, recounting what local media are calling "gelati-gate." the tainted sweet was allegedly served up at the coogee bay hotel, one of sydney's largest and most popular beachfront hotels, located just a few minutes south of bondi beach. the pub has denied serving excrement to the whyte's after they complained they were unable to hear a televised football game due to loud music, with both the chef and restaurant manager volunteering for dna tests to prove their innocence. both sides have accused the other of money seeking, with the whyte's claiming they were offered a$5,000 ($3,240) in hush money by pub general manager tony williams, while they in turn were accused of trying to negotiate up to a$1 million in damages. the argument over accusations of "kitchen revenge" has shocked australians, leading into an expected searing, gelato-friendly summer, capturing national headlines for days. macdonald said dna analysis would now be done to determine if the sample was of human or animal origin as police and food authorities investigate the case. "obviously, we are keeping an open mind and do not want to pre-empt this investigation in any manner," he said. the eastern sydney hotel is standing by staff and on tuesday said its own lab tests on the chocolate gelato tub had found no evidence of contamination. source

austin, texas — a woman in texas has been accused of repeatedly smearing human waste on her 3-year-old daughter's intravenous feeding line, potentially causing life-threatening infections. emily beth mcdonald, 23, of austin, was charged with felony injury to a child. she faces up to life in prison if convicted. according to an arrest affidavit, a surveillance video at dell children's medical center captured mcdonald on sunday placing feces from a soiled diaper on the cap of a tube with a direct link to her child's bloodstream. police interviewed mcdonald, who allegedly confessed and said she knew that her actions could make the child severely ill and possibly even kill her. no motive was disclosed. mcdonald was released on a $100,000 bond wednesday. the austin american-statesman reported she must wear an electronic monitoring device and comply with a police protective order that prevents her from seeing her three children. bob phillips, an attorney representing mcdonald, told the newspaper she is a "fine young woman from a fine family who loves her children very much." "i believe that as the facts unfold, the impression people have of this young woman will change for the better," phillips said. the affidavit said that the sick child was admitted to the hospital april 15 with a high fever and "a long history of chronic diarrhea." she had a catheter and doctors conducted a blood test, which was positive for foreign bacteria common in feces. doctors inserted a feeding tube. "the medical records showed the child would start getting better, and feces mostly likely would get introduced," austin police child abuse detective chris hallas said. the affidavit said that hospital staff placed a camera in the room based on their concerns and it recorded mcdonald's actions. they reviewed the tape sunday. officials said relatives are caring for mcdonald's 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. source, source
