alright, this is my friend kyle playing enter sandman on expert on rockband. he was born with several birth defects, one including the stunted growth of his fingers. i've seen him even play freebird with no problem. i'll try to get him to do more, he's not shy about it.
a minister dies and is waiting in line at the pearly gates. ahead of him is a guy who's dressed in sunglasses, a loud shirt, leather jacket, and jeans.
saint peter addresses this guy, "who are you, so that i may know whether or not to admit you to the kingdom of heaven?"
the guy replies, "i'm joe cohen, taxi-driver, of noo yawk city."
saint peter consults his list. he smiles and says to the taxi-driver, "take this silken robe and golden staff and enter the kingdom of heaven."
the taxi-driver goes into heaven with his robe and staff, and it's the minister's turn. he stands erect and booms out, "i am joseph snow, pastor of saint mary's for the last forty-three years."
saint peter consults his list. he says to the minister, "take this cotton robe and wooden staff and enter the kingdom of heaven."
"just a minute," says the minister. "that man was a taxi-driver and he gets a silken robe and golden staff. how can this be?"

it was the star of the tokyo motor show nearly six years ago, and finally, the bugatti veyron has made it into production.
the company's president says the spectacular two-door coupe's drivetrain also will be used in a four-door bugatti model in the future.
the veyron's 16-cylinder engine develops a shade over 1,000 horsepower, giving it a 0-60 time of fewer than 3 seconds and a 252-mph top speed. those staggering stats make the veyron the world's fastest production car. it's also the most expensive — it'll set you back about $1.3 million.
the veyron is the first fruit of volkswagen's takeover of the bugatti business, which collapsed in the early 1990s after a brief renaissance with the eb110 supercar. vw has spent an estimated $300 million reviving bugatti.
according to bugatti president thomas bscher, the company has firm orders for 30 cars at the moment, with some customers having ordered two — one to drive and one to keep as a work of art.
bscher said the company is planning a second model, though not a smaller sports car, as previously predicted.
"we have such a great engine and drivetrain, we better use it again in another large model," he said. "i see it as a four-seat car with front engine and its own unique chassis."

russian tanks are moving towards the capital of georgia's separatist region of south ossetia which has been under heavy bombardment from georgian forces. georgian troops are currently observing a three-hour ceasefire to let civilians leave the besieged capital, tskhinvali. georgia is reported to have said any involvement of russian forces in the conflict will result in a state of war between the two countries. reports from georgia claim russian jets have attacked an airport near tblisi. nato, the us and the eu have all called for an immediate end to hostilities. at least 15 civilians are reported dead, as well as several russian peacekeepers based in tskhinvali. georgian president mikhail saakasvili, who has called on reservists to sign up for duty, said "150 russian tanks, armoured personnel carriers and other vehicles" had entered south ossetia. "this is a clear intrusion on another country's territory. we have russian tanks on our territory, jets on our territory in broad daylight," reuters new agency quoted him as saying. "i must also tell you that georgian forces have downed two russian jet fighters over georgia's territory." russia rejected claims its fighters had attacked georgian targets and that any had been shot down. but georgian president mikhail saakasvili confirmed the shootdown during an interview with cnn. source i know i haven't posted in a long time but i felt this was somewhat important.
