the amazing guitarist tommy emmanuel.
ufc 3: the american dream - quarterfinal bout: emmanuel yarborough vs keith hackney - september 9, 1994, at grady cole center in charlotte, north carolina.
emmanuel goldstein or ayman al-zawahiri? in the tape, apparently intercepted by us-based terrorism think-tank site, ayman al-zawahiri challenged mr bush to send "the entire army" to iraq. is it a real video or a video created for a purpose by ameruka intelligence?
couldn't find anything in a search so sorry if it's a repost, some of the best fingerpicking guitar in the world right here, tommy emmanuel is australian and has a very unique style, i have more clips if you want them, if it doesn't work download vlc and use that.
pretty straight forward, insane video of tommy and jake playing together using jake's rearranged version of while my guitar gently weeps.
short clip from an old video of his - up close. guess what tune it is.
one of the most beautiful acoustic songs i've ever heard.
day tripper - a taste of honey - lady madonna. a clip from his live at st louis dvd.
incredible performance from one of the greatest guitarists in the world, ever.
an extract from his st. louis concert years ago. tommy's interpretations of classical gas. enjoy!!
another one for the night. more to come if you guys like it. enjoy!
for tonight we have, "that's the spirit". its a more relaxing upbeat piece compared to the other 2 i posted previously. hope you like it as much as i do. enjoy!
i think this is the easiest of tommy's songs because its the only one i can play with my level. its not as complicated as the others and its quite a cheerful piece. enjoy!
the last one didn't get enough votes so i was hesitant on uploading this.. but what the heck... this is one of the longer pieces, twice that of others. before this, he was talking about how he and his brother, phil wanted to be electric guitarists (which explains that "neck bending" thingy he did during the prelude). be patient and wait till he gets to the bass lines, that's where things get interesting. enjoy.
this is the opening piece for the concert. quite fast beat and high difficulty. more to come.
here's another relaxing piece.
in this piece, tommy skillfully swings the bass part like a jazz player. he borrowed the bassline from elvis's "let me be your teddy bear". it's quite impressive music skill, make sure to give it a listen. i'll post more tomorrow.
when i heard this, i had to throw it on spiked. good music..good solos.
emmanuel: i must ask my colleagues on the other side of the aisle. does ann coulter speak for you when she suggests poisoning supreme court justices or slanders the 9/11 widows? if not, speak now. your silence allows her to be your spokesman.
